Keeping combat multipliers up (which the game really wants you to do) is hard because there are so many hits coming at you that are hard to dodge because of how awkward your character can move in combat. The combat is somewhat unwieldy which led to a playstyle where you just stack health potions and spam magic. Played today the graphics are still somewhat enjoyable, but what was less enjoyable was the gameplay.

I recently played through Fable 1 again (picked it up from the summer sale) and graphics weren't the problem of the game.
